About Us

Board and Team

Many of our Board members and staff have the lived experience of having a premature or sick baby that is why we ‘get it’. To find out more about this exceptional team read on.

Board of Directors

Seona Emanuelli

Chair

Seona is a neonatal intensive care nurse with over 24 years’ experience in clinical care, research and management, both in Australia and abroad. She is the founder of Bidibots, a medical company that designs and innovates products and devices specifically for our smallest and sickest babies.

A mother of three, Seona is honoured to be part of the board as she has seen firsthand the vital and ongoing support LLTF provides to the families of sick and premature babies and the healthcare staff who care for them.

Fintan McGivern

Secretary

Fintan is currently the Head of Customer Experience Transformation at Capgemini Invent, the digital and technology consulting division of the Capgemini Group. He leads a talented and diverse team of strategists, designers, technologists, and data scientists to solve complex business problems and drive innovation for leading public and private organisations.

Fintan is a proud father to his son Dillon, who was born prematurely in 2023 due to Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR) and spent several weeks in a Special Care Nursery. He understands first hand the challenges of going through this journey for families, and is passionate about leveraging his corporate experience to help scale and modernise LLTF.

Karin Vosmansky

Treasurer

Karin is CEO/Executive Director of Mack Valves and was previously Financial Controller of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation. Karin has helped numerous not-for-profit organisations build their ability to support their cause, while controlling financial obligation to the government and support services alike.

Karin is passionate about supporting families with sick or premature babies. Her own son Robbie was born prem in 2007, which led to her committed volunteer work at the Foundation over the past 16 years. Karin believes that providing the right information and support to parents and professionals is key to delivering best outcomes for families.

Vanessa Border

Director

Vanessa is a lawyer who now works in People and Culture for a fast-growing tech company. She was previously the Chief of Staff for a prominent children’s advocacy organisation in San Francisco and founded a camp for young adults with special needs. With extensive experience in the not-for-profit sector, Vanessa brings a unique perspective with respect to the risk, legal and people functions of LLTF.

Vanessa has two daughters – one was premature and spent time in the NICU and the other became seriously ill soon after birth. Both her girls are now thriving, but these experiences inform her appreciation of the impact LLTF has on our community.

Matt Levy OAM

Matt is a Paralympic gold medal swimmer, charity ambassador, inclusion and wellbeing advocate, motivational speaker and published author. He has a degree in Business (Management), an Australian Institute of Company Directors qualification and MBA (Leadership), as well as an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for services to sport.
