NICU Connections
NICU Connections events, both online and face-to-face, offer you a chance to connect with staff and volunteers who ‘get it’, because we’ve been there.
At NICU Connections events you will learn about all of our educational resources and services available to you in hospital and once you transition home.
Most importantly, you’ll connect with other families who are experiencing similar challenges, along with our staff members who bring their own lived experience
NICU Connections – Online
We have developed three online support groups for parents, one in hospital when first navigating NICU/SCN, one for Dads and male carers and another for when parents transition home.
These groups are run by LLTF staff and trained volunteers to offer you a safe space to connect, find support and talk with other families in a similar situation.
These sessions are run via an online closed Facebook group so you can sit with your baby and join in cot-side using your own personal device.

NICU Connections – face-to-face
A morning tea is held each month in selected hospitals across Australia. Enjoy a light morning tea and a ‘cuppa’ with our peer support staff members and volunteers who have the lived experience.
You’ll meet some wonderful people and learn all about LLTF and how we can support and empower you with our resources, products and services.
